DayZ launcher guides
Start with the task in front of you: installing a launcher, joining a modded server, or working out why a Workshop download has stopped.
Join a modded DayZ server
Check Steam and DayZ, choose a server, prepare its required Workshop items and confirm the connection inside the game.
Read the joining guide → 02 / TroubleshootingDayZ mods not downloading?
Separate a paused Steam download from an unverified mod list, an outdated item or a launcher link problem.
Work through the checks → 03 / Choosing a launcherCompare DayZ launchers
Understand the official launcher, DZSA, DZC and Flarecall preview before deciding which workflow to try.
See the comparison →New to Flarecall?
The Windows download and installation page includes requirements, the installer checksum and a real one-click update test. Flarecall is an independent preview, not an official DayZ product. You need your own installed copy of DayZ and a signed-in Steam client.
Our preview currently discovers servers with players at discovery time. Empty servers are excluded. If you are looking for a specific empty server, its absence does not mean that the server is offline. Read what the preview can and cannot verify before testing.
For DayZ server owners
The server scanner page explains public query traffic and the contact route for listing questions. These guides focus on the player’s Windows setup; changing server files or Workshop collections is the server administrator’s responsibility.
